Thank you, Washington! It’s been a hectic and exciting start to 2024 for the Appliot team! After the initial unveiling of our AI-based satellite IoT solution at the IoT India Expo event in January, the next stop was Washington, D.C. for the Satellite 2024 Conference and Exhibition. We arrived in Washington with a new range of IoT solutions, and a lot of enthusiasm. This is a new show for us – and it didn’t disappoint! We were blown away by the level of interest in our AI-based satellite IoT solution. IoT is a market with massive potential and solutions are being deployed across a plethora of industries. From agriculture to maritime and military to energy, IoT can benefit any business in any sector. However, when being deployed to businesses in remote areas, with limited terrestrial connectivity, this can result in the inability of the terminals to connect to a network. This is where satellite helps to bridge the communications gap, allowing connection no matter where on the planet the solution is required. This is critical for many businesses that rely on IoT to monitor their assets and streamline their operations. Just in case you’re new to Appliot, we offer a future-proof, end-to-end, AI-based satellite IoT solution that is highly efficient, cost effective and easily integrated into any business network, enabling you to take advantage of the plethora of benefits that IoT delivers. At Satellite 2024, we met so many different people from many different parts of the world, all with an interest in how our solutions can help them to make their business more efficient and profitable. We announced an exciting new partnership During the event, we announced that Saudi Arabia-based satellite service provider, Saudi Net Link, has partnered with us to negotiate satellite IoT services across the Kingdom. Established in 1995, Saudi Net Link is one of the leading telecommunications companies in Saudi Arabia and over recent years has expanded its operations to include a wide portfolio of services including VSAT, cyber security, mobility and broadband. The addition of IoT services will enable the company to further augment its addressable market to offer remote solutions for a variety of industries. The partnership will potentially allow Saudi Net Link to enter the rapidly expanding IoT market with an affordable cutting-edge solution that takes advantage of AI and is tailored to meet its specific market requirements. On signing the agreement, Mohammed Al Faisal, Business Development Director Saudi Net Link said: “With this range of future proofed IoT solutions, we can serve our customers that wish to provide a range of affordable and reliable IoT services to both established and emerging markets.” We look forward to a longstanding and fruitful partnership and would like to thank Saudi Net Link. We made the MSUA Shortlist We were also delighted to have made the shortlist for this year’s Mobile Satellite Users Association’s Innovation Awards in the category of Best Industrial IoT Solution. This was such an honor, especially as we are just making our debut. We hope to be nominated again next year. Bring on the future! We’re now looking forward to three more busy quarters. We’ll be attending many more events and we look forward to meeting you there. In the meantime, we welcome you to visit our new website, follow us on social media where you can find out all about the unique aspects of our technology and the markets we serve.
